Committee support for GMCH and WHCA- taking minutes, managing policy and procedure at the direction of the manager and committee
Administrative duties/ tasks as assigned by Patient Care Managers

QUALIFICATIONS:
General education, minimum Highschool Diploma, College education in an administrative field is preferred
Medical terminology course required
General clerical skills and computer literacy; Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Meditech preferred
Ability to work independently and to demonstrate initiative in fulfilling responsibilities
Excellent organizational skills to manage creating, updating and changing Nursing and Communication Clerk schedules
Thorough understanding of bargaining unit Collective Agreements (especially call in procedures and scheduling)
Excellent communication skills
Proficient at WHCA payroll system and ability to enter, change and adjust payroll for staff
Understanding of policy and procedure templates, Patient Care order templates and medical directive templates
Satisfactory performance and attendance required
Satisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start date
Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check
Must complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment prior to being hired

Hours of Work: (subject to change)
Monday to Friday: 06:30 - 14:30 (on an as needed basis)
Salary: $29.72 to 34.77 per hour.
