Job Description: The Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) is a clinical practitioner who integrates experience, skills, and knowledge from the nursing theory in the provision of direct patient/resident care, assessment of needs, clinical problem solving, and patient/resident and student/staff education.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience


• Experience in a community rural setting


• Supervisory experience is an asset

Education

• Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing

Other Education and Training

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)


• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR)


• MDS training would be considered an asset.
