Job Title: Clubs Liaison
Location: Hybrid – All campuses; Some remote work
Duration/Term Length: 2 semesters
Employment Type: Part-Time
Work Hours: Hours may fluctuate – On average 20+ hours a week
Job overview:
Reporting to the Manager of Clubs & Events, the Clubs Liaison is responsible for overseeing the
CCSAI Clubs Program and is the primary liaison between the CCSAI Board of Directors and CCSAI
Clubs. The Clubs Liaison is responsible for ensuring that the diverse needs and expectations of
Centennial students are met with a wide variety of engagement activities and community building
opportunities.
Responsibilities & Duties
• Ensures that all CCSAI, college, and relevant law, policies and procedures are adhered to by all clubs and at all club events
• Provides assistance in the planning and promotion of club activities and events
• Designs and conducts regular club training sessions
• Responsible for coordinating club bookings on campus for meetings, events and other
• Working closely with our Communications and Media team to facilitate club-related content
• Acts as an ex-officio member of all CCSAI-sanctioned clubs
• Maintains a regular rotation of office hours at all campuses
• Prepares and maintains a current listing of all clubs, their mandates, activities, and executive
contact information
• Manages the CCSAI Clubs email inbox and regularly responds to student inquiries
• Reviews and approves club packages for ratification
• Reviews CCSAI club event proposals
• Responsible for enhancing student engagement, involvement and overall awareness of
CCSAI clubs
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager of Clubs & Events
Qualifications
• Previous student involvement is an asset
• Ability to work independently and to perform effectively and collaboratively as a member of a team
• Effective time management, problem-solving, organization and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Experience in using platforms such as, but not limited to, SharePoint, MS Teams, Google Suite
• Ability to be professional and respectful at all times
Eligibility
• Must be enrolled as a student at Centennial College
• Demonstrate a good academic standing
• Must have a valid Social Insurance Number (minimum 6 months to expiry)
