CNC Machinist

Our client, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of the Production Team supporting the business. The ideal candidate will have interpersonal skills, attention to detail and be a team player which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Dartmouth, NS

Pay Range: Based on Experience

 

What’s the Job?

 

• Organize machine loading with Production Manager
  
• Fit parts to mechanisms and verify dimensions
  
• Program, tool and operate turning centers and mills and lathes.
  
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances
  

What’s Needed?

• 5 plus years of experience
  
• Full knowledge of Hass and Mazak controls
  
• Experience with lathe live tooling programming and operation
  
• Experience with 5th axis programming and operation
  
• Experience with MasterCam an asset
