We are a fast paced, production-oriented machine shop with plenty of opportunity for growth. We ship our product all over North America and are recognized as a premier brand that supports the diesel truck aftermarket. We are a growing shop looking for new additions to the team as we expand.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Responsibilities
Programs and sets up CNC milling, lathe, or other machinery according to blueprint specifications
Reads and interprets technical blueprints and design models and inputs the product design into the computer modeling software
Adjusts machine settings to the desired product specifications
Troubleshoots and maintains machines
Tests accuracy of settings and programs
Designs and manufactures tooling required for production
Orders components necessary to build tooling
Assist in the training and development of machine shop personnel
Further, this position will collaborate with other departments on efforts such as R&D projects, launching new product, innovation and standardization of best practices and carrying out activities in the best interest of the organization
Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function
Typically reports to a supervisor/manager
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Red Seal Journeyman Machinist or Equivalent
Formal Training in CNC Programming or Equivalent
Minimum: Five years of production experience as a machinist in a manufacturing setting
Experience with Lean Tools and Techniques such as 5S, Setup Reduction, One Piece Flow
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
