Das NIKE, Inc. Supply Chain-Team ist der Motor, der die Produktauslieferung auf der ganzen Welt antreibt. Die Supply Chain Experten stellen sicher, dass jedes Jahr fast eine Milliarde Schuhe, Bekleidungsartikel und Ausrüstungsteile zum richtigen Zeitpunkt an den richtigen Ort gelangen. Um einen nahtlosen Ablauf dieser Aufgabe zu gewährleisten, arbeiten die Supply Chain-Teams mit einem Netzwerk aus über 50 Verteilerzentren, Tausenden Buchhaltern und über 100.000 Einzelhandelsgeschäften weltweit zusammen – um das Unmögliche jeden Tag möglich zu machen.




Overview

To provide leadership and direction on business processes that supports the effective and efficient distribution of product through the facility, service to NIKE customers, cross functional collaboration with internal partners and leadership to the distribution center team. Assure that internal and external customers receive product in a timely manner; build positive employee relationships and balance the work according to business needs, continually communicate, and achieve or exceed the goals and objectives of the organization.

Shift available :

  • Mid-night - 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM EST (Sun to Thu)

Core Accountabilities

  • Plans the work of employees with a daily or short term focus. Supervises employees and sets individual goals. Supports development and provides significant input into hiring decisions, performance management recognition and rewards.
  • Identify any potential barriers that may prevent the team from meeting objectives. Proactively communicate to Operations Manager and peers on status of workflow throughout the day and ensure successful daily handoff between shifts is conducted. Work with peers in other areas to ensure the success of the entire facility and support cross-training plans.
  • Daily communication with internal partners to ensure that facility goals are being met on time. (Cross-departmental communication)
  • Provide the tools and training to ensure employee success. Coach and counsel employees on daily and weekly performance. Ensure that employees are meeting production, quality and service expectations. Conduct Method and procedure audits and employee follow- ups.
  • Daily review to ensure employees are clocking correctly and completely. Maintain attendance records. Assist in preparing, reviewing and posting of daily reports (where applicable).
  • Overseeing the daily operations in for the Quality Returns department
  • Promote an environment of open communication. Listen and respond to employee issues and concerns. Communicate company policy procedures and ensure consistent application of policies.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience managing employees required
  • Working knowledge of automated distribution systems, departmental budgets, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • PC skills required, experience with Excel, Word, SAP, DCMS and Kronos would be a plus.
  • Project management skills preferred.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, attentive to details, work well under pressure and able to meet deadlines required.
  • Must possess demonstrated ability to work as a team member, handle confidential matters in a professional manner, and lead and influence others to accomplish operational objectives.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal skills, ability to embrace and promote others' ideas, motivate employees, build and maintain working relationships and stay focused.
  • Must understand and foster a diverse workforce.
  • Able to work overtime with little or no notice before or after scheduled shift.
  • Must have ability to access all areas of the warehouse and be able to lift up to 50 lbs
