Job Description - Code Custom Farming

Farm is 2500 acres of corn, 1500 acres of barley, 80 acres of Hay, 9500 head of beef cattle.

 

Job Duties:


  • Monitoring animal health

  • Perform livestock feeding

  • Handling animals, treat health issues
    Weaning, harvest crops, negotiate with clients for provision of services

  • Operate and maintain farm equipment

  • Maintain work records and logs

  • Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting, supervise and oversee growing and

  • other crop-related operations, perform general farm duties.


Requirements:


  • Secondary School (High School) Diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum two years experience


Hours of Work and Pay:


  • $23/hour

  • 40-50 hours/week (may fluctuate depending on the season)


Benefits:



  • Employer will ensure candidate finds accommodation that does not exceed 30% of monthly wage.
