Key Duties Include: 

• Operates a power driven winding machine to wind more complex and generally larger coils for power transformers – where quality standards are critical in nature;


• Sets up assigned work to meet specification;


• Required to exercise sound judgment based on knowledge of accepted methods and procedures and question all deviation from specifications with supervisor.


• Responsible for following safe work guidelines/procedures.

Do you qualify? We are seeking:  

• Must have good knowledge of copper and aluminum welding – gas & TIG


• High degree of judgment exercised based on knowledge and interpretation of specifications


• Knowledge of methods, practices, techniques, terms, definitions and standards required in the manufacture of transformers.

Full-time Hourly Starting Rate - $30.17 Shift and Premium Pay Available:
$1.00/hr. – Afternoon shift premium
$2.50/hr. – Dedicated trainer premium
$3.00/hr. – Shift advisor premium

Full range - $30.17 - $34.28 – as per the collective agreement
