Collection Analyst - Bilingual

Our client is seeking a Collections Analyst to join their team and to be part of the Financial Department. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, organization and multi-tasking capabilities which are vital to being successful in this role. He will responsible for coordinating and following through on collecting payments, collection plans, reducing past due, bad debt exposure, and other quantitative targets, by performing portfolio management activities for customer base of key accounts

Job Title:Collections Analyst

Location: Onsite or Hybrid

Pay Range: $35.00/hour

Full-time or Part-time: Full-time - 6 months contract with potential to extend to 1 year further

What’s the Job?

• Initiate collection calls to customers
  
• Resolve client billing problems
  
• Identify issues contributing to account delinquency
  
• Review and monitor assigned accounts and all applicable collection reports
  
• Provide timely follow up on payment arrangements and customer requests
  
• Make recommendations to management regarding customers to be placed on hold or sent to collection.
  
• Maintain and document communication with customers
  

What’s Needed?

• 3-5 years of experience in a collection’s role in a commercial environment
  
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel at an Intermediate level or above (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French, customer service focused 
  
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles - preferred
  
• Knowledgeable in AP processing and ability to source improvements
  
• ERP experience (D365 preferred)
