Centennial Carstar in Dartmouth is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Collision Technician Apprentice!

NOW HIRING: Collision Technician Apprentice

LOCATION: Centennial Carstar Dartmouth, Dartmouth, NS

HOURS: Full time, Permanent. 40 hours per week. 

WAGE: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour + benefits (negotiable based on experience).

APPLICABLE SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong attention to detail


• Reliable, self motivated, and shows initiative


• Organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively


• Capable of working independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment


• Physically capable of standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling 


• Basic technical knowledge of auto body collision and mechanical repairs


• Must have a valid driver’s license

MAIN JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prep cars for paint

• Small dent repairs


• Light body work


• Disassembling and reassembling vehicles


• Changing bolt-on parts (i.e., fenders, bumpers, etc.)


• Assist in detail bays when necessary


• Other duties as required
