Community Programs Coordinator (1 vacancy)

OBI is seeking a Community Programs Coordinator to work at the intersection of innovation and community-level care, helping accelerate solutions that improve brain health outcomes. In this role you will lead planning, program performance management, and the day-to-day execution of OBI’s flagship community programs, GEEK and CORTEX.

You will focus on elevating the role of community organizations in the brain health ecosystem as OBI’s central coordinator for evaluation capacity building, scale and spread of community care, neurotech testing, and community-generated evidence through the GEEK and CORTEX projects.  You will serve as a primary coordinator, liaising with community organizations, evaluators, neurotechnology companies, and government partners to ensure that innovation is implemented and spread through the community sector and informed by lived experience.

Major Responsibilities

  • Support onboarding and participation of community organizations, neurotechnology developers, and partners into GEEK and CORTEX programs.

  • Manage day-to-day execution of community programs, including timelines, milestones, reporting, and deliverables.

  • Coordinate evaluation activities for GEEK-funded projects, supporting community organizations in building evaluation capacity while delivering programs.

  • Support CORTEX projects focused on real-world evidence generation, including coordination of clinical scales, PROMs, and participant engagement.

  • Work with internal and external partners to ensure neurotechnology is deployed responsibly and effectively in community and care settings.

  • Track program outputs and outcomes, including participation, evidence generated, learning outcomes, and implications for care pathways.

  • Support identification and road-mapping of new community-led program offerings and enhancements aligned with OBI’s brain health mission.

  • Plan and organize a community of practice for community organizations participating in GEEK and CORTEX programs.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience, coupled with a relevant post-secondary degree.

  • Strong program and project management experience.

  • Demonstrated experience with community-based programs, evaluation frameworks, evaluation capacity building, and/or real-world evidence generation.

  • Working knowledge of neurotechnology, brain health, and lived-experience-informed program design.

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills across multiple stakeholders.

  • Experience in facilitation or community engagement.

  • Clear, empathetic, inclusive communication skills suited to working with community organizations and participants.

We are a diverse, highly energized, passionate, professional, collaborative and committed team. We offer an exciting workplace and many opportunities for learning. Interested and qualified candidates are invited to submit a resume and covering letter no later than February 16, 2026.

We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted. OBI is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
