We are hiring a Compensation Administrator at our Calgary corporate office to help shape the future of our Total Rewards programs. You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and maintenance of our U.S. and Canadian compensation programs. You will support job evaluations, salary benchmarking, pay structure maintenance, job profiles and the alignment of our programs with overall organizational goals and objectives.
What you will be doing
Maintain salary structures, pay grades and job classifications for exempt and non-exempt roles in Canada and the US
Support the annual compensation cycle, including merit increases, market adjustments and incentive plan administration
Support compensation planning activities, including survey participation, data analysis, policy reviews, and program updates
Work directly with HR Business Partners to review and validate compensation recommendations for new hires, promotions, and internal transfers
Assist in developing a company job architecture - job profiles, job families, and job descriptions – that aligns with and supports the talent management, performance management and succession planning programs
Ensure we are compliant with laws and regulations
Collaborate with the Total Rewards team on projects related benefits, pension, system configuration, reporting improvements, process efficiencies, wellness and communication strategies focused on employee experience and education
What we would like from you
3–5 years of experience in compensation, HR analytics or a related HR function
Experience supporting compensation programs in both Canada and the US
Strong proficiency in MS Excel
Demonstrated success working effectively in a team-based environment
Familiarity with relevant legislation and compliance requirements
CCP designation or other related certifications are considered an asset
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
Experience with UKG (UltiPro/Kronos) is considered an asset

This is a full-time permanent position based out of our Calgary Corporate Office
The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
