Component Technician- Day Shift

Component Technician- Morning 

Location: Winnipeg, MB

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the Team Leader to set up the workstation for each order.


• Assemble trusses according to company procedures, SWOP, and Team Leader instructions.


• Inspect materials, equipment, and completed work regularly; report any issues promptly.


• Maintain a clean, organized workstation throughout the shift, including end‑of‑day cleanup.


• Operate all tools, equipment, and machinery safely, correctly, and responsibly.


• Perform additional duties as required to support production and team operations.

Experience

• Woodworking or construction experience required.


• Ability to use a hammer and read a tape measure (foot‑inch‑sixteenth method).


• Experience reading and understanding work orders.

Knowledge & Abilities

• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.


• Team‑oriented, cooperative, and supportive.


• Detail‑oriented, accurate, and committed to safe work practices.


• Able to prioritize tasks and work productively in a fast‑paced team environment.


• Willingness to learn new skills and participate actively in team huddles.
