Confined Space Rescue Technician - Ontario

The Lead Rescue Tech is primarily accountable for planning and providing industrial technical rescue standby, fire prevention, instruction and or medical response to clients of The Total Group of Companies.

Under the direct supervision of the General Manager, daily task and activities include but are not limited to:

• Rescue Support

• High Angle Rescue

• Rope Rescue

• Working at Heights

• Confined Space Rescue

• Confined Space Attendant & Air Monitoring

• First Aid/Medical Response, hose deployment

The ideal candidate would possess the following traits:

• Positive attitude

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Minimum 18 years of age.

• Authorized to work in Canada and possess a valid SIN.

• Hold a valid driver’s license and own a reliable vehicle.

• Be able to produce a clean or satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.

• Have the ability to pass re-employment Drug & Alcohol Testing.

To be selected for this role, you MUST have the following certifications:

• NFPA 1006 or equivalent

• All oilfield tickets such as first aid and H2S Alive.

• Valid technical rescue certification
