Conseillèr(e) aux opérations environnementales – JLL

Ce que ce poste implique :

Le·la candidat·e choisi·e dirigera l'ingénierie des procédés de génération d'eau ultrapure et du traitement des eaux usées industrielles pour nos installations. Ce rôle stratégique est essentiel à l'excellence opérationnelle de JLL : vous garantirez la fiabilité et l'optimisation de nos systèmes de traitement des eaux tout en assurant une conformité rigoureuse aux exigences réglementaires d'une usine de semi-conducteurs en microélectronique. Vous serez au cœur de l'innovation technique, de la planification stratégique et de la réalisation de projets critiques qui soutiennent directement la performance et la durabilité de nos opérations.

À quoi ressemblera votre quotidien :

  • Assurer l'ingénierie et l'optimisation des systèmes chimiques (production d’eau déminéralisée, traitement des eaux usées, parc des réservoirs, drainage chimique/sanitaire/pluvial).
  • Réaliser la planification stratégique des systèmes, incluant l'exploitation, le remplacement, la croissance, le suivi des capacités et la planification des investissements.
  • Identifier, diriger et implanter des opportunités d'amélioration technique et des innovations pour maximiser la fiabilité et l'efficacité financière.
  • Fournir un support technique aux opérations et résoudre les causes fondamentales des problèmes techniques et de processus.
  •  Préparer les rapports requis pour le  MELCCFP et la corporation.
  • Gérer les projets en lien avec les systèmes dont vous avez la responsabilité.
  • Supporter l’équipe d’opération des infrastructures de JLL
  • Diriger les initiatives de conservation de l'eau

Qualifications requises :

  • Baccalauréat en génie chimique.
  • Minimum 2 ans d'expérience dans un domaine connexe.
  • Expérience démontrée en traitement des eaux.
  • Connaissance des technologies de traitement des eaux et de leurs principes de fonctionnement.
  • Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais, à l'oral et à l'écrit.
  • Membre en règle de l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), ou admissible à l'inscription immédiate par mobilité interprovinciale.

Qualifications préférées :

  • Aptitudes en gestion de projet, analyses et synthèse.
  • Leadership démontré et autonomie dans la gestion des responsabilités.
  • Capacité à travailler efficacement en équipe et à communiquer avec divers intervenants.
  • Expérience dans la gestion de programmes environnementaux et de conformité réglementaire.
  • Familiarité avec les exigences du MELCCFP
  • Connaissance approfondie de la réglementation du MELCCFP

Environmental Operations Advisor – JLL

What this job involves:

The selected candidate will lead process engineering for ultrapure water generation and industrial wastewater treatment systems at our facilities. This strategic role is essential to JLL's operational excellence: you will ensure the reliability and optimization of our water treatment systems while maintaining rigorous compliance with regulatory requirements for a microelectronics semiconductor manufacturing facility. You will be at the heart of technical innovation, strategic planning, and the execution of critical projects that directly support the performance and sustainability of our operations.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Ensure the engineering and optimization of chemical systems (demineralized water production, wastewater treatment, tank farm, chemical/sanitary/stormwater drainage).
  • Conduct strategic planning for systems, including operations, replacement, growth, capacity monitoring, and capital investment planning.
  • Identify, lead, and implement technical improvement opportunities and innovations to maximize reliability and financial efficiency.
  • Provide technical support to operations and resolve root causes of technical and process issues.
  • Prepare required reports for MELCCFP (Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, Wildlife and Parks) and the corporation.
  • Manage projects related to systems under your responsibility.
  • Support JLL's infrastructure operations team.
  • Lead water conservation initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in water treatment.
  • Knowledge of water treatment technologies and their operating principles.
  • Fluency in French and English, both oral and written.
  • Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), or eligible for immediate interprovincial mobility registration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project management, analysis, and synthesis skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and autonomy in managing responsibilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with various stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing environmental programs and regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with MELCCFP requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of MELCCFP regulations.

*Oral and/or written interactions with tenants or external partners based outside Quebec (for example, service providers, law firms, peers, bankers, brokerage firms, credit analysis firms, credit agencies, non-French-speaking clients, etc.)
