CONSTRUCTION LABOURERS

Landmark Solutions Ltd. (Landmark) has immediate openings for General Construction Labourers. The ideal candidate will be safety conscious with at least 1 year experience doing physical work outdoors, preferably supporting a construction site. This is a full-time position supporting construction projects located throughout British Columbia.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

 This position is an integral part of the Landmark team, with the opportunity for the individual to grow within our Construction division and other sectors of the Landmark business. General Construction Labourers work with safety as a top priority while ensuring adherence to Landmark safety policies, procedures, and practices. The Labourer is responsible to perform general construction and labouring activities. This position is a field-based position that has the potential for out of town and camp work.

 SPECIFIC SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Commitment to safety


• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License with clean driving record and the confidence to drive safely in a variety of road conditions


• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions


• Lifting up to 50 lbs; bending and crouching for extended periods of time


• Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures


• Working with power hand tools


• Working around heavy equipment


• Working near traffic


• Cleaning and preparing job sites


• General duties around sites


• Must be able to work with minimal supervision


• Communicate effectively with Managers, Supervisors, and other team members.


• Other combinations of experience and education will be considered
