A leading construction law boutique is looking for a 3-5 year associate to join their highly regarded team in a role that provides exposure to all areas of construction litigation. There will also be opportunities to do solicitor work.

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

This mid-sized firm focus on Construction and Family law. They have a construction group that rivals its national competitors in terms of team size and quality of clients, but without the corporate culture and hierarchy that you find in larger firms. Work-life balance at the firm is excellent because the Partners in the group seek to stay busy doing quality work, while not overloading the team to a level where they can’t enjoy life outside of work.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Due to ongoing growth within the firm, in this role you will work on some of the most notable construction cases while learning from some of Canada’s leading construction lawyers. You will have exposure to all aspects of construction law while running your own files and supporting senior lawyers on some of the largest projects in Western Canada.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Called to the BC Bar and be in good standing
• 1 – 5 years of experience with construction law
• A passion for construction law and a strong understanding of its foundations
