Job Description:



We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee large institutional building projects, multi-residential developments, and low-rise housing in Nova Scotia. The Construction Manager will lead and coordinate construction activities across a diverse range of projects, ensuring they meet budget, timeline, and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, experience in various construction types, and a deep understanding of project management principles.



Key Responsibilities:



• Oversee all construction activities on institutional, multi-residential, and low-rise housing projects, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently across different types of construction projects.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure design and construction alignment.
• Lead, mentor, and manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor and report on project progress for various developments, addressing any issues that arise.
• Ensure adherence to local building codes and regulations for different project types.


Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on institutional, multi-residential, and low-rise housing projects.
• PMP, P.Eng., or equivalent certification is an asset.
• Proven experience managing multiple large-scale construction projects across various types.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety standards, and building regulations in Nova Scotia.
