Job Description - Construction Project Accountant

Destinationone Consulting is looking for a Construction Project Accountant for our client in Vancouver.

About Our Client

Our client is an award-winning real estate developer and builder in Vancouver. Projects are primarily residential high rise and multi-family condominium. It's a privately-owned company.

About You

You are an experienced construction project accountant with, at least, 2 years relevant experience in Vancouver.

About the Role

As a Construction Project Accountant, you will be reporting directly to the Controller and responsible for the project accounting of one large construction project with two residential towers.

Responsibilities

Overseepreparation of weekly cheque runs and purchase orders

Manage changeorders in the accounting books’

Track projectcost and completion in align with contracts; liaise with project managers andsite managers.

Complete month-endclosings and prepare monthly project financials

Prepare ad hocproject reports as requested
