Our client is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator/Administrative Assistant to join their organization. This is a unique opportunity to join a company with a diversified background in commercial, retail, institutional and residential building. This individual will be responsible for supporting Project Managers in all aspects of document management and presentation.
About the Role
* Responsible for document management and tracking
* Log in and distribute shop drawings and other related submittals
* Create and coordinate documents such as Purchase Orders, Subcontracts, RFIs
* Manage and file documents for projects both digitally and hard copy
* Clerical duties include typing, filing, document tracking, data entry, etc
Desired Skills and Experience
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Outlook etc)
* Strong time management and organizational skills required
* Post-secondary education a requirement preferably Construction Management
* 3+ years experience preferably in the construction industry
* Ability to work with others as a team
* Ability to work flexible hours as the project schedule demands
