About the Role

As a Controller at Enkel, you’ll use your financial expertise to support a diverse client base. With a passion for client management and strong communication skills, you’ll meet with clients to review monthly reporting, solve business challenges, and support their next big idea. You’ll also mentor colleagues and help drive growth across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead year-end reviews and audits for Enkel’s clients, gathering required documentation from clients and service providers


• Conduct monthly meetings to review financial statements, assist with cash flow planning, and support budgeting efforts


• Provide constructive feedback on reporting deficiencies and lead corrective actions to elevate the work of Enkel’s Delivery Team


• Guide the Bookkeeping Team through complex accounting entries and review their work to ensure high-quality financial statements


• Create customized dashboards to help clients track key financial insights and monitor business performance


• Collaborate with the Client Success Team to onboard new clients and establish robust monthly reporting processes


• Participate in technical accounting discussions to develop practical approaches for accurate financial reporting
  
  

What You Bring

• 10+ years of experience in finance and/or accounting, with a track record of delivering results and guiding companies through various business cycles


• CPA designation or an equivalent recognized accounting designation required


• Strong proficiency in cloud-based accounting software such as QuickBooks Online and Xero


• Exceptional communication and listening skills to identify client needs, brainstorm solutions, and exceed expectations
