Cook, Events (Student Co-op) - Toronto

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Prep Cook (Co-op Student) to join our Events Kitchen! This is a great opportunity for a culinary student who want to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced, professional kitchen.

 We’re Looking For Someone who is:

• Enrolled in a culinary or hospitality co-op program ( a must!)
• Eager to learn and grow in a kitchen setting
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Punctual, organized, and able to follow directions
• A team player with a great attitude

The Day to Day:

• Support daily food prep for service—cleaning, chopping, portioning, and organizing ingredients
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation
• Learn kitchen operations, station setup, and the basics of line service
• Work alongside experienced chefs and contribute to a positive team environment
• Participate in daily prep lists, inventories, and waste reduction practices

• Basic Understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills.
• Ability to take direction and work calmly and effectively under pressure.
• Able to spend 100% of the time standing.
