Job Description - Co-op Business Analyst

Business Analyst, Strategic Sourcing – Fall Co-op

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Business Manager – Strategic Sourcing, this position assists in preparing reporting and analysis, and completing tasks to support various Strategic Sourcing activities such as material cost, contract margins, compliance, ESG, and process improvement. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Prepare reporting and analysis to support Sourcing leadership in carrying out duties across the NFI Group.
  • Coordinate and generate data and analysis on material cost, contract margins, compliance activities and continuous improvement activities.
  • Assist with Supply Chain ESG activities within the Supply Management Team
  • Assist in coordination of the Supplier Risk Management process and reporting across the NFI Group. 
  • Facilitate and coordinate selected sourcing process improvements, activities, and projects. 

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Enrolled in bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent. 
  • Exceptional data gathering and analysis skills.  
  • Strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and drive to produce accurate information. 
  • Prior experience with general Supply Management process and procedures would be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of financial statements and accounting practices to effectively prepare forecasts, budgets, and other reports of Sourcing performance considered an asset.
