About this role
Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Regular Full-time Coordinator - Health Policy and Government Affairs to join our dynamic Legal Services team.
The Legal Services team provides legal, privacy, ethics, governance, policy, and risk leadership across Canadian Blood Services’ product and service areas.
Reporting to and working closely with the Director, Health Policy & Governmental Affairs, you will provide high-level coordination and administrative support to ensure the effective integration and operation of the Health Policy & Governmental Affairs team. This role supports strong logistical and functional alignment across the team, within the Legal Division, and with external stakeholders, including federal, provincial, and territorial governments and elected officials.
You will be responsible for organizing and facilitating team meetings, tracking and managing action items, and coordinating calendars to support departmental priorities. The role also supports budgeting and reporting activities, prepares and processes Director expense reports, and drafts and manages correspondence and other documents as required. In addition, it contributes to the preparation of meeting materials and supports the smooth flow of information across internal and external stakeholders.
