Position Overview:
As part of a national Corporate Communications team, the Manager, Corporate Communications will lead day-to-day public and media relations activities for IGM Financial, including IG Wealth Management and Mackenzie Investments. The role is a contract position for 12 -18 months with the possibility to extend to a permanent position.
This Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing integrated external communications strategies that enhance brand reputation, support business priorities, and elevate the organizations’ voice across the wealth and asset management industries in Canada.
The ideal candidate is a strategic communicator and strong operator with excellent news judgment, media relations experience, executive presence, and the ability to perform in fast-paced, complex environments. They bring a proactive mindset, strong storytelling capabilities, and a data-informed approach to communications, along with a solid understanding of how public policy, regulatory developments, and broader stakeholder issues shape corporate reputation and business outcomes, particularly within a publicly traded company.
This individual will collaborate closely with marketing, senior leadership, business partners, and legal teams, and lead the PR agency engagement, providing strategic direction and ensuring high-quality execution. They will play a key role in shaping narratives, managing media relationships, and driving measurable communications outcomes.

Qualifications:
The expected annual base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $105,000, which is determined based on skills, knowledge and experience and geographic location.
