This attorney will support the sales and delivery organizations of NTT DATA North America and work on transactions and other matters across our various business verticals, including Healthcare \u0026 Life Sciences, Financial Services \u0026 Insurance, Products and Public. As Corporate Counsel, you will be expected to negotiate and document contracts for complex information technology (IT), applications, business process, digital, consulting and artificial intelligence (AI) services transactions. Additionally, you will support Canadian employment law and corporate governance matters as needed. \n\nResponsibilities include: \n\n * Lead counsel in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts in support of IT, applications, business process, digital, consulting and AI services sales and delivery organizations\n * Advise business clients on terms and conditions, and risks, in complex outsourcing relationships (including scope of the services, service level agreements, pricing schedules, intellectual property, benchmarking, termination, and IP)\n * Assist in developing and achieving resolutions to business disputes with customers\n * Enforce compliance with corporate policies\n * Work collaboratively with internal corporate units and global stakeholders\n * Manage internal executive briefings and escalations\n * Provide legal support for employment law issues as needed\n\n\n\nRequired Qualifications: \n\n * At least 6 years of experience as a lawyer, preferably with some law firm experience, and at least 3 years of experience drafting and negotiating complex IT services agreements, including leading or \u201csecond chairing\u201d the negotiation of IT, applications and/or business process outsourcing agreements\n * Ability to exercise independent judgment and interact with senior business executives\n * Knowledge of the market for complex IT services\n * Strong written and verbal communications skills (English)\n * Flexibility and willingness to work with multiple stakeholders in an evolving business\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \n\n * French written and verbal communication skills\n * General familiarity with Canadian employment law\n * General familiarity with corporate governance matters\n * General familiarity with Canada public sector law (Federal and Provincial)\n\n\n\nLocation:\n\nThis role may be performed remotely (within Canada) and/or from one of our Canadian hub offices in Burnaby, BC, Mississauga, ON, and Halifax.\n\n#LI-NAM\n\n\"INDSALES\"\n\nAbout NTT DATA\n\nNTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
