EPIB 601-002 Fundamentals of Epidemiology (4 credits)

Fall 2026

Fundamentals of Epidemiology: his course aims to provide a comprehensive introduction to epidemiologic concepts and corresponding terms. After an introduction to the history, definition, and purposes of epidemiology, "core" concepts that are relevant in several areas of investigation (e.g., etiologic research, health care research, and community medicine practice) will be presented.

Schedule: Tuesday/Thursday, 8:35am to 10:25am

Credits: 4

Teaching Qualification Requirements:

Education: PhD students in Epidemiology or completed PhD Epidemiology

Experience: Successful completion of comprehensive examination
