ABOUT THE COMPANY
We’re redefining what fleet management and asset-backed financing looks like in Canada – helping businesses move faster, run smarter, operate leaner, and get more out of every asset they own. Sound like something you want to be a part of?
Jim Peplinski Capital has been a trusted partner in fleet management for over 35 years, helping Canadian businesses optimize their assets and finances. We provide a fully integrated suite of capital and fleet solutions covering every stage of the fleet lifecycle, from tailored financing structures and sourcing through to administration, programs, and remarketing.
In this role, you’ll be on the front lines of our credit & risk function – with real ownership, room to grow, and a direct hand in setting a new standard for how fleet financing is done in Canada.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Credit Manager, the Senior Credit & Risk Analyst is a key individual contributor on our credit team, responsible for independent adjudication, portfolio monitoring, and mentoring junior team members. This role sits at the intersection of underwriting and risk oversight and is well-suited to a credit professional ready to take on greater responsibility and grow into a leadership position.

- Conduct annual reviews of existing commercial credit facilities and adjust credit lines as required
- Contribute to the development and refinement of credit policies and underwriting guidelines
- Interact directly with the Sales team and customers to obtain financial information and support credit decisions
Portfolio & Risk

- Prepare portfolio reports including delinquency summaries, maturity schedules, and concentration analysis
- Ensure all security interests are registered and renewed prior to expiry
- Ensure all FINTRAC/Anti Money Laundering (“AML”) documentation is complete and current prior to deal activation
- Support collections on delinquent accounts and assist with workout strategies, including customer bankruptcies
- Coordinate with external parties (legal, repossession agents, remarketing) on enforcement files as needed
Team & Mentorship
- Provide day-to-day guidance and file review support to the Credit Analyst and Risk & Receivables Administrator
- Support knowledge sharing, quality control, and best practice development within the credit team
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to workflow and documentation standards
WHO YOU ARE

Intellectually curious and tech forward. You stay sharp, embrace technology to improve your analysis and decision quality, and bring a continuous improvement mindset to your work. As the credit landscape evolves, so do you.
