Salary: $45.85 to $57.31 per hour
Status: Temporary Full-Time (3‑month contract with the possibility of extension)

Position Summary
In the Toronto Western 38 bed Medical Surgical Neuro ICU (MSNICU), the interdisciplinary team provides care to patients who require advanced ventilatory and hemodynamic support to overcome the complex challenges of neurosurgical emergencies, shock syndrome, and multisystem failure.
Reporting to the Unit Manager, as a member of the multi-disciplinary team on the MSNICU, the Patient Care Coordinator – Critical Care Response Team (CCRT) Co-Lead acts as a resource for the multidisciplinary team. This position plays a leadership role by mentoring and providing direction, ongoing development and preceptorship to team members.
60% of the time will be allocated to the CCRT Co-lead responsibilities and 40% to the PCC responsibilities as described below.

As an integral member of the Critical Care Response Team and in collaboration with the medical CCRT lead, the unit manager as well as CCRT co-leads at Toronto General Hospital, the CCRT Co-Lead overseas the daily activities & functioning of the MSNICU CCRT team and liaises with key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and optimal management of patient care outcomes.
