Job Description - Cross-Border Long-Haul Class 1/AZ Driver

Running open-board Canada/U.S. long-haul. Assigned unit requires 24 days on the road per month and averaging 12,000 miles per month. Must have a FAST card

  • Southbound freight could depart into any of the lower 48 states
  • Northbound freight could go into any of the Canadian Provinces and Territories
  • On the road 7 to 14 days at a time on average, resets on the road as required
  • Regional freight might be required
  • Freight and destinations might vary
  • Flexible schedule requiring weekend departures

    • Candidate Profile: 

  • Company Driver with tractor-trailer experience
  • Must be eligible to drive in the U.S.
  • Must have a valid FAST card 
  • Must be able to drive in California, and U.S. Mountains 12 months of the year
  • Must be able to drive Highway 17 in Ontario 12 months of the year 
  • B.C. Mountain experience is an asset ​
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more
  • Must have a valid Class 1/AZ license
  • Reliable, flexible, and punctual
  • Strong communication skills
  • Values safety
