Hourly Rate:

AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Requirements and Nature of Work:

Indigenous Academic Tutor

Minimum Qualifications:

GPA of 6.5 or higher. Must be currently enrolled in the JD program or have recently completed the JD program. Must have completed Constitutional Law II; Excellent communication skills; Demonstrated skill in legal writing; Prior tutoring experience; Aptitude using technology for teaching purposes; Ability to take initiative, and to work independently and creatively; Flexibility and adaptability around new teaching/learning conditions; A demonstrated understanding with respect to the  barriers faced by Indigenous learners and communities.  Bilingualism is an asset.
