Custom Order Engineer

Eaton\u2019s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Custom Order Engineer to join our team. This on-site position that is based out of our Airdrie, AB location and offers benefits from day one. \n\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $69000 - $87000 a year. \n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.\n\n## Join Our Team: \n\nProvide timely and accurate drawings, materials information, and production engineering support for the manufacturing of motor control centers and aftermarket products in accordance with the customer specifications and the Canadian Electrical Code. This position is also responsible for providing product support (technical, application, etc.) to the General Sales Force \u0026 Marketing, Consolidated Transaction Center (CTC), and Eaton\u2019s Electrical Services \u0026 Systems (EESS) teams.\n\nWhat you\u0027ll do:\n\n * Review incoming orders for design accuracy and compliance with customer specifications.\n * Resolve technical non\u2011compliance issues and prepare timely approval or manufacturing drawings.\n * Develop required electrical control schematics to ensure product functionality.\n * Create non\u2011stock bills of material to meet order needs.\n * Provide technical support to production, marketing, CTC, and sales teams.\n * Assist warranty and field service teams in resolving customer issues.\n * Share customer needs and unmet application requirements with the Product Line Manager.\n * Support corporate initiatives and contribute to departmental and operational goals.\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBasic Required Qualifications: \n\u2022 Bachelor of Science Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering. \n\u2022 1 year of engineering experience in the manufacturing of electrical power distribution assemblies and customer relations. \n\u2022 Competency in using MS-Office, AutoCAD Electrical and Inventor.\n\n\u2022 Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship. \n\u2022 No relocation is provided. \n\nPreferred Qualifications: \n\u2022 3 years of engineering experience in the manufacturing of electrical power distribution assemblies and customer relations. \n\u2022 French language skills considered an asset.\n\n## Skills:\n\n * Self\u2011motivated, energetic, and able to thrive in a fast\u2011paced, team\u2011oriented environment while taking direction effectively.\n * Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and problem\u2011solving abilities.\n * Demonstrated aptitude for complex analysis and advanced problem\u2011solving.\n * Effective at managing time, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.\n * Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.\n\n\n\nThis posting is for an existing vacancy. \n\nAt Eaton we leverage artificial intelligence to recommend jobs to you that match the skills and experience required for the open role.
