Job Description - Customer Marketing Reference Manager

Job Summary

The Customer Marketing Reference Manager will be responsible for maintaining and fostering relationships with Customers. Your goal will be to grow our client reference database, foster customer connection, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction that help drive cross-sell and upsell of Emplifi products.

This position is based remotely within North America.

What You’ll Do Here

  • Work closely with leadership, including marketing, services, sales, and others, to ensure customer success with our platform, spanning training, reference management, and campaigns that drive cross-sell and upsell of customers
  • Drive creative and engaging activities across geographies while supporting the interests of many
  • Identify reference customers, including those that allow logo use, creating customer stories and case studies through research and investigative reporting style interaction
  • Identify third-party experts that could be engaged and continue to build trust between Emplifi and our Customers
  • Manage one or more customer review sites like G2, Trustradius, and others including soliciting client reviews and managing review site accuracy
  • Report on Customer interactions across target accounts and target individuals, report on revenue impacted by these activities
  • What You’ll Bring to Us

  • BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
  • 3+ years of customer or demand gen marketing with B2B SaaS companies 
  • Proven ability to engage with clients
  • Capable of learning our platform and investigating our client's use of the platform 
  • Excellent writing and speaking skills
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of data collection methods (surveys, focus groups, etc.)
  • Skilled in the use of (but not config) Salesforce, Marketo, and other marketing tools
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to adjust to changing dynamics
  • An enthusiastic, high-energy team member who is viewed as a “doer” on the team and across internal organizations
