Customer Service Associate

Customer Service Associates play a key role in delivering exceptional service by assisting customers with inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This role involves processing transactions accurately and efficiently using our computerized systems. In addition, the successful candidate will be cross-trained to perform cashier duties, providing flexibility and support across the front-end operations. This position is part-time with the potential for up to full-time hours based on business needs.

 

• Process customer transactions, sales, and refunds through cash registers  
• Operate scanners and credit card/debit card terminals   
• Provide excellent customer service  
• Collect payments and bag purchases for customers   
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly  
• Maintain front end department merchandise   
• Answering front desk phone and directing calls  
• Assist other departments and functions as required  
• Able to learn and operate the applicable computer system (D365) used to process orders 

• Strong mathematical skills and basic computer system knowledge  
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment   
• Customer satisfaction-oriented  
• Strong communication and time management skills  
• Problem solving and decision making   
• Experience as a Retail Cashier is an asset  
• Ability to handle moderate physical demands: standing for 4 hours, lift medium size merchandise if required up to 50 lbs.  
• Ability to work a variable shift schedule including mornings, evenings and weekends as per business needs.
