Job Description - Customer Service - Order Entry Specialist

Gentek is a leading manufacturer and distributor of vinyl/aluminum siding and windows and other exterior home improvement products. With 3 manufacturing facilities and 22 distribution branches in Canada we are well-positioned to provide our customers with the best products and a superior service experience.

Job Description

Our busy Customer Service Department located in our Lambeth, Ontario facility requires a CUSTOMER SERVICE /ORDER ENTRY SPECIALIST to provide excellent service in processing orders and respond to our customers inquiries while working closely with all customer service and warranty team representatives, production staff, and branch administrators. You will:

· answer and respond to customer inquiries with urgency via phone and/or email

· enter orders accurately and efficiently to meet required cut off times and deadlines

· verify team orders for accuracy and make corrections when required

· have extensive knowledge of Gentek products

· prepare accurate quotes for window and doors using computer software

· provide customers with product and service information

· identify and escalate priority issues and follow up with resolutions

· maintain good working relationships with customers, staff, and branch administrators

· Salesforce Logging - calls, order verification, and document storage

Qualifications

· Minimum of 2 years of industry experience (windows, building products)

· Technical aptitude and high attention to detail

· Proficient in basic math - including understanding fractions and decimals

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

· Knowledge or customer service principles and practices

· Experience in a commercial or industrial environment preferred

· Ability to communicate with professionalism

· French speaking is an asset but not required

· Self-motivated, dependable, and accountable

· Special visualization skills and blueprint reading as asset

· Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
