Customer Service Representative

In this role, you'll be the primary point of contact for customers and will communicate with drivers to resolve issues during routes. Requirements:

• High School or post-secondary education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer focus
• Responsible individual with high energy and a positive attitude
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational, problem solving, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiastic self-starter with a strong work ethic and proven track record for success
• Reliable team player that is supportive of company drivers and co-workers
• Previous administrative or customer service experience considered an asset
• Computer literacy is considered an asset
• Work experience in the waste, recycling or environmental services industries considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide operational support as needed
• Schedule service and satisfy customer needs for service changes. Ensure that service is completed in accordance with established policies
• Review route sheets for proper days end data entry
• Interacts with customers, customer service department, sales, & Operations staff
• Fields incoming calls / emails from customers in a professional manner
• Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally via email, telephone and two-way devices
• Assist with month end billing process as directed
• Assist with daily administrative duties like deposits, reconciliation and fact checking data entry
• Other duties as assigned.
