Client: Utility Sector Rôle: Program Manager RoleJob Type: 1- year contract Rate: Open *depending on experienceLocation: Hybrid Role Your new CompanyOur client owns and operates an electricity distribution system that delivers electricity to approximately 80,000 customers in one of Canada's largest city.Your Role & ResponsibilitiesOur client is looking for a Program Manager who will be responsible for supporting and managing I&IT Cybersecurity projects, enhancements, optimizations, Infrastructure life cycle management, IT Operations, and business applications. The ideal candidate will have minimum of 5 years of experience working in an information technology environment with exposure to cyber security, policies, and audit and compliance preferred.This Program Manager will be maintaining relationships with city officials as it relates to compliance and cyber security affairs.Accountabilities:Project ManagementResponsible for supporting and managing I&IT Cybersecurity projects, enhancements, optimizations, Infrastructure life cycle management, IT Operations, and business applicationsProvide regular updates to I&IT Management on various activities related to I&IT Cybersecurity optimizations, service providers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are delivered and status is reported in a timely and accurate manner.Stakeholder ManagementAccountable for maintaining a city of Toronto relationship pertaining to cyber security affairsActs as a liaison between government stakeholders, regulatory team and Cyber security teamAbility to communicate and present to senior management and government officialsDevelops key strategic relationships internally to understand compliance requirements Strong stakeholder engagement and project management skillsCompliance/Audit:Works with identified internal groups to gather and corroborate city of Toronto documentation requirements Ability to manage sensitive information accordingly Completes documents associated to cyber security surveys in compliance with identified frameworksUnderstanding of regulators and compliance audit frameworks (ie.
