Dairy Queen Assistant Manager

Borderland Co-op is looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team at our Whitewood Dairy Queen. We are seeking a self-motivated, ambitious, and energetic individual who will be involved in recruitment, training and development and performance management.

What you’ll do:

• Plan, organize, direct, support and evaluate daily operations.
• Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms.
• Assist with performance reviews.
• Assist with organizing and maintaining inventory.
• Participate in marketing plans and implementation.
• Address customers' complaints or concerns.
• Assist with recruitment, training and supervision of staff.
• Demonstrate day to day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen our Co-op’s vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety.
• Lead a culture of safety through the adherence to company standards for health & safety, loss prevention and environmental due diligence.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Customer Service and:

• Possess 1-3 years of experience in a restaurant environment, including supervisory or management experience.
• High level of integrity and accountability.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays where necessary.
• Ability to fulfil physical job requirements including manual labour.
• Strong leadership skills that align with DQ’s values.
• Ability to foster a culture focused on safety, innovation, and teamwork.

Salary Band - $51,610 - $77,415 annually (The successful candidate will be placed within this band based on experience, technical knowledge, and leadership ability)
