Data Analyst

Responsibilities may encompass, but are not restricted to:

• Formulate and execute strategies involving the development of databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other approaches aimed at enhancing statistical efficiency and data quality.
  
• Utilize data visualization techniques to analyze data comprehensively, unveiling insights, discerning trends, and identifying anomalies.
  
• Craft and maintain dashboards, reports, and various data visualizations to proficiently convey discoveries to both internal and external stakeholders within the BDM.
  
• Detect, evaluate, and interpret trends or patterns within intricate data sets.
  
• Contribute to the formulation and implementation of data solutions, which may include data models, databases, and data integration initiatives.
  
• Collaborate closely with the data stewardship network to ensure strict adherence to data quality, security, privacy, and compliance standards.
  
• Install, configure, and perform upgrades on database systems to ensure they operate optimally while aligning with established best practices.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline.
  
• Proven experience in data analysis, data mining, and data visualization.
  
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, including Python, R, SQL, and data manipulation libraries.
  
• Strong knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or open-source alternatives.
  
• Solid understanding of statistical techniques and hypothesis testing.
  
• Effective communication skills to convey complex data findings to stakeholders.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
