Database Administrator - DSS/EODIDS

 We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to design, implement, maintain, and secure database systems. You will ensure high availability, optimal performance, and data integrity across all database environments — on-premises and in the cloud — while collaborating closely with developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders. 

 Responsibilities

• Monitor database performance and execute tuning, indexing, and query optimization
• Design and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
• Enforce database security policies, access controls, and compliance standards (HIPAA, SOC 2, GDPR)
• Plan and execute database migrations, version upgrades, and patch management
• Manage database capacity planning and storage allocation
• Collaborate with development teams to review schema designs and data models
• Develop and maintain automated scripts for routine database tasks
• Troubleshoot and resolve database incidents and outages with minimal downtime
• Document database architectures, procedures, and change logs

Minimum requirements: Bachelors degree or higher and 4-7 years of experience.
