Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) has an exciting opportunity for a Dealer Facility Planning and Support Specialist to join our Dealer Standards and Sales Operations (DSSO) department. This is a full-time opportunity that reports to the Manager of Dealer Standards and Representation. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that Toyota facility standards are upheld and promoted throughout our Dealer network, as well as developing the vision for the future of Toyota and Lexus facilities. This role will include some direct Dealer and vendor interactions, as well as provide support to various team members.

What You’ll be Doing:
Dealer Facility Upgrades
Assist Zone Dealer Development Managers with obtaining approvals for dealership renovations, relocations, and final building designs
Monitor Zone facility projects and schedules, report on progress
Represent TCI facility interests in communication with business partners and Dealers
Be the gatekeeper of Toyota Facility Standards – maintain, adjust, and ensure compliance
Lead the Plan Do Check Act (PDCA) survey process after facility project completion
Manage key facility vendor relationships
Future Facility
Research and assist in the development of long-term Toyota and Lexus facility requirements that prioritize the customer experience
Liaise with Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) and industry counterparts, ensuring open dialogue and idea-sharing
Evaluate new initiatives, analyze and build consensus for their adoption or rejection
Work cross-functionally within TCI and TMNA to support network Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) readiness
Lead environment/green-focused facility studies and initiatives
Responsible for overseeing the Dealership BEV readiness launch, ensuring effective communication across the network and maintaining liaison with our business partners
Department Support
Provide administrative assistance for budgeting, scheduling, and reporting
Special projects including event organization and ad hoc requests
Support Dealer Development Managers with governance projects and process
Other duties as required
What You’ll Bring:
University/College degree/diploma in business, automotive, or architecture-related discipline
3+ years of automotive experience with exposure to automotive dealerships
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present confidently
Proven ability to build strong relationships
Strong time management, organizational & analytical skills
A self-starter with a proven ability to initiate and improve work processes
Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Proficiency in French is an asset
