In this role, you will be pivotal in prospecting, developing, and maintaining strong business relationships with auto dealers within your assigned territory. Your primary focus will be on acquiring new indirect business and enhancing existing dealer relationships, ensuring profitable growth in retail and commercial finance solutions. This position requires a strategic mindset to monitor dealer performance and take necessary actions to uphold profitability while providing exceptional service. Your contributions will be crucial in navigating a competitive market landscape and ensuring the success of our client’s business initiatives.
Accountabilities
- Manage relationships with auto dealers for various financial products across assigned territory.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance dealer performance and profitability.
- Conduct regular meetings with dealers to discuss finance products and address needs.
- Generate new business opportunities to meet sales goals and expand dealer network.
- Deliver training and mentoring to new and less experienced team members.
- Participate in the development of operational policies relevant to dealer relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in dealer finance or consumer lending.
- Proven sales track record in attracting and retaining customers.
- Strong account management and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient PC skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
