Responsibilities

·       Safely operate company vehicles to pick up, transport, and deliver goods to customers in a timely manner.

·       Load and unload packages, ensuring items are handled with care to avoid damage.

·       Verify and reconcile delivery information such as addresses, invoices, or delivery notes.

·       Maintain communication with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers regarding delivery status, delays, or issues.

·       Follow assigned routes and schedules, optimizing delivery efficiency and fuel usage.

·       Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.

·       Adhere to all traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies.

·       Assist in warehouse operations when needed (sorting packages, staging deliveries, etc.).

Qualifications

·       High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

·       Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license with a clean driving record.

·       At least 1-year local driving experience

·       Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role (logistics experience is an asset).

·       Ability to operate GPS and navigation apps confidently.

·       Basic record-keeping or smartphone app usage skills for logging deliveries.

·       Good physical stamina.

·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

·       Flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends, evenings, and overtime when required.

Salary: $20/hr
