Schedule:  

Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm

The wage for this Dental Administrator position is $25.00 - $30.00/hour depending on skills, experience, and location.

Your Role: 

  • Welcome and assist patients upon arrival, creating a warm, confident, and lasting first impression — as you are often the first face patients see and the first voice they hear over the phone, this role plays a critical part in shaping the entire patient experience. We are looking for someone who naturally elevates every interaction and sets the tone for exceptional care from the very first moment of contact.
  • Optimize the daily appointment schedule to ensure full utilization with minimal gaps 
  • Effectively manage the recall system and maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records 
  • Handle incoming patient calls and inquiries, including appointment scheduling, confirmations, changes, and cancellations 
  • Process referral letters and other patient correspondence from providers; organize, manage, and file all patient records and charts 
  • Proactively manage potential cancellations and address objections to encourage patients to keep their appointments 
  • Complete patient billing following treatment, process payments, submit insurance claims, and respond to fee inquiries in a professional and positive manner

About You: 

  • Exceptional Administrator with excellent written and verbal English communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a professional, client-focused demeanor.
  • Minimum 1 year of Dental Administration experience is  
  • Experience with dental software programs is required, preferably Dentrix
  • Clinical background is considered an asset 
  • Strong patient-first mindset with a passion for creating outstanding experiences
