Deputy Community Outreach Commissioner (Fundraising & Scholarship)

Honorarium Position

Overview

Provide leadership and guidance for the Community Outreach Commission. Organize and oversee the annual Silent Auction event and the Supper Series initiative. Facilitate Commission-wide social events and partnerships. Work closely with the Community Outreach Commissioner and committee co-chairs.

Time Commitment and Remuneration

Term: May 1st, 2025 – April 30th, 2026

Hours: 5-6 hours per week

Honorarium: Awarded based on the Honorarium Grid in the Human Resources Policy (Click here)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Hold at least 5 office hours per week
• Participate in hiring of Community Outreach Committee Chairs
• Attend weekly meetings with the Community Outreach Commissioner
• Spearhead organization of the annual Silent Auction, ensuring strong communication with the entire Commission
• Organize all aspects of the Supper Series initiative
• Assist in Commission-wide meetings, events, and initiatives
