Honorarium Position

Overview

As the Community Outreach Marketing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and promoting the marketing efforts for 12 Community Outreach Committees and their respective events. This position involves overseeing significant initiatives, including organizing the annual Silent Auction and the Supper Series, while ensuring effective communication and coordination within the Community Outreach Commission.

Time Commitment and Remuneration

Term: May 1st, 2025 – April 30th, 2026

Hours: 5-6 hours per week

Honorarium: Awarded based on the Honorarium Grid in the Human Resources Policy (Click here)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and execute marketing plans for each of the 12 Community Outreach Committees to boost event visibility and community engagement.
• Maintain at least 5 office hours per week to assist with committee needs and provide support.
• Assist in the recruitment and selection process for Community Outreach Committee Chairs.
• Join weekly meetings with the Community Outreach Commissioner to stay aligned with strategic goals and updates.
• Lead the organization of the annual Silent Auction, ensuring effective communication with all Commission members. Manage all aspects of the Supper Series initiative.
• Aid in planning and executing Commission-wide meetings, events, and initiatives.
