We’re making a difference in our communities by providing timely mental health and addiction services, education and advocacy to ignite hope and support change for all.
As Development Officer, you will be responsible for establishing and growing a Mid-Level & Legacy Giving Program in support of our mental health, addiction, and housing programs. You will focus on identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding mid-level gifts in the $5,000 to $15,000 range, as well as legacy gifts. This role is also responsible for supporting our employee giving program.
As a member of our Fund Development Team, you will actively manage a portfolio of donors - and prospective donors - working to build meaningful, trusting relationships with the aim of matching donor interest with philanthropic opportunities within our organization. You will develop, manage and track the systems and processes for the Mid-level gifts pipeline and moves management while engaging our donors with the work of CMHA TVAMHS.
Successful candidates must have a Police Vulnerable Sector Check completed in the last six months. Interested applicants who reside in the City of London and are in need of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) are encouraged to apply for one as soon as possible as PVSCs in the City of London are currently taking approximately 2 weeks to be processed and offers of employment cannot be made without receipt of a PVSC.
