As part of a multidisciplinary development team, the Senior QA Developer will participate in the testing, the quality control and the automation of test scripts for the software and high technology projects in the field of analysis and modeling of electricity distribution networks and renewable energies. Develop and document test plans, cases, and scripts Define and align testing strategies with project requirements Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing Identify, document, and track software defects Communicate issues to the development team and collaborate on solutions Ensure the software meets specified requirements and standards Validate that the final product is user-friendly and performs as expected Mentor junior QA developers and lead them towards effective problem-solving Bachelor's studies in engineering, computer science or equivalent from an accredited institution Minimum 5 years of experience in test automation and applying software testing techniques with languages such as Java, Python, Bash, and PowerShell. Experience with tests automation tools for Desktop, Web applications or Web services (e.g. Cypress, Cucumber, Selenium, Test Complete, SOAPUI, Postman) Experience with Git, GitHub and CI/CD Fluency in English and French (working proficiency in both languages). Fluency in French and English is required for this position to communicate with colleagues, customers, and partners located inside and outside of Québec, as well as to understand technical documentation in the field of our industry. Be legally authorized to work in Canada without corporate sponsorship now or in the future.
