Digital Marketing Coordinator (Paid Internship)

All Interns and Marketing Coordinators will be reporting to a Team of Senior Digital Marketing Executive.

As the Marketing Coordinator Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to help grow a company that works with the eCommerce and logistics industry by building awareness, driving leads, and fostering engagement. This role offers exposure to multiple areas of marketing and the opportunity to rapidly build your experience.

Available hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assists in setting marketing strategy for different projects of the company
• Supports content marketing efforts – helps set our content calendar, plan content for each project, publish and promote content
• Updates website content in WordPress and schedules new blog posts for publishing according to the company’s content calendar
• Supports SEO efforts by optimizing site content, internal linking, and building back links
• Schedules email marketing campaigns including ongoing newsletters and promotions
• Manages the company’s social media and participates in communities where our target audience is active
• Reports on marketing performance and ROI
• Other marketing and administrative duties as required
• Provide customer support, answer the queries over the call and emails
• Ensure tidiness and stocking of supplies in the office.
• Help Shipvista.com grow digitally via customer acquisition.
• Assist with data entry of and other files

The right candidate has experience with:

• Creating ads for Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Google, Kijiji, Reddit, and more
• Monitoring campaigns on Google and social media platforms
• Creating landing pages, blogs, and other social media posts
• Knowledge of CRM software
• Creating content for the ads and campaigns
• Short video creation and other social media interaction

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Drive, and Dropbox)
• A minimum of one year of relevant experience in digital marketing, experience in eCommerce can be an asset
• Bachelor’s degree and/or post-graduate certificate in marketing or other related marketing certification
• Google, YouTube, and Facebook Advertising certifications.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail with creative problem-solving skills
• Capability to work effectively both independently, and closely with others in a small team environment.
