About the Role
Reporting to the Vice President, Mine Technical Services, the Director, Mineral Resources provides corporate technical leadership and governance for Mineral Resource estimation, reconciliation, and related public disclosures across Torex Gold. As the Company's designated Qualified Person for Mineral Resources, the Director is accountable for the accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance of Mineral Resource estimates and applicable exploration disclosures.
This role requires the technical depth to independently evaluate complex geological models and estimates, together with the leadership maturity to guide, challenge, and mentor site teams without taking over their work. The Director will work with stakeholders ranging from site geologists and technical specialists to executives and the Board and will support technical due diligence for potential acquisitions. The position is based in Canada and requires travel to site approximately every four to six weeks.
